Avatar New York began with a beta version of Salesconx.com and then moved forward to a final production site as the beta site’s popularity rapidly grew. Avatar New York generated a custom application to allow site visitors to buy and sell contacts from a trusted source. With a ratings and feedback section, connections can be monitored and self-policed by the Salesconx’ business networking community. A thorough verification process ensures safe transactions and a content management system to allows the Salesconx team to seamlessly make modifications to the site.
Results
Avatar launched the official site back in February 2008. They now have over 3625 available connections and over 1400 active deals. They also have several partnerships formed with other sales affiliated sites such as SalesGravy (www.salesgravy.com), an international network for sales professionals, ShiftSelling (www.shiftselling.com), a sales training and advisory firm, and The Selling Edge (www.thesellingedge.com), a training, coaching and development firm. Salesconx.com was featured in Thompson Reuters, a world-wide leading source of business information.
