Is feedburner still relevant? Google answers YES, with a new cleaned-up interface. Thanks google. My only question is where are all the bells and whistles that were provided to us in the old version. The interface and graphs are much better, providing real time stats from twitter and the like, but I don't see any of the fun stuff anymore (i.e. customizing your feed, socialize, etc). Also, the graphs are nice, but why can't feedburner fully integrate with Google Analytics (more like AdWords)? It's definitely a move in the right direction, I'm hoping for more before it's released.

So have you been hearing about mashups recently? A data mashup is basically a web app that combines data from several sources into a single source. An example would be to combine a photo feed and google maps. The result is a map with points showing exactly where your photos where taken. Sounds cool hu? Well yahoo has created a visual tool that makes creating mashups relatively easy and fun called
Yahoo Pipes.
